The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice amalgamated with Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) in March 2021 to ensure specialist care and support services would remain available to families with children living with life-shortening conditions.
Operating as one hospice across Staffordshire and South Cheshire, offering a broad spectrum of palliative and end of life care services for children, young adults and adults.
The option for family login, allowed authorised family members to access and update the care plans on their own. Being able to give families permission to view, review and or update the care plans., drastically reduced the efforts and time of the care staff.
